2008-08-06 Irrigation Irrigated N-rate study with 1.0 inch of water.

2008-08-25 Irrigation Irrigated N-rate study with 0.8 inch of water.

2008-08-18 Irrigation Irrigated N-rate study with 1.0 inch of water.

2008-08-12 Irrigation Irrigated N-rate study with 0.9 inch of water.

2006-08-11 Irrigation Irrigated soybeans 0.5 inch. Solid set irrigation was used.

2006-08-15 Irrigation Irrigated soybeans 1.0 inch. Solid set irrigation was used.

2006-08-18 Irrigation Irrigated soybeans 1.25 inch. Solid set irrigation was used.

2007-06-22 Irrigation Irrigated the wheat in the N-rate study. One gauge was 1.2" of water and the second gauge was 1.4 " of water.

2004-07-31 Irrigation Irrigated the N-rate study. After the irrigation event the first rain gauge (the gauge between irrigation runs/lines) was 0.6" and the second rain gauge (the gauge in the line/run) was 0.5". In the middle of the irrigation event the irrigation line came apart in plot 101 (third riser in form the southwest line) and flooded everything in that area. Turned the pump off and did not add anymore water to the study today. Our goal was to add 1.0" of water to the study today.

2004-07-16 Irrigation Put irrigation pipe out by the N-rate study on July 8, 2004. July 16, 2004 put irrigation pipe into the N-rate study. July 16, 2004 flushed the irrigation/pipe lines out today.

2004-07-20 Irrigation Irrigated the N-rate study. After the irrigation event the first rain gauge (the gauge between irrigation runs/lines) was 0.7" and the second rain gauge (the gauge in the line/run) was 0.6". The pump at the FSC ran for two hours. Before running the irrigation we had to unplug a lot of sprinkler heads. We also had to make sure the sprinkler head would turn.

2004-07-21 Irrigation Irrigated the N-rate study. After the irrigation event the first rain gauge (the gauge between irrigation runs/lines) was 1.7" and the second rain gauge (the gauge in the line/run) was 0.95".

2004-08-09 Irrigation Irrigated the N-rate study. After the irrigation event the first rain gauge (the gauge between irrigation runs/lines) was 1.5" and the second rain gauge (the gauge in the lines/run) was 0.7". Started the irrigation and had to turn the pump off because we had two mice in two sprinkler heads. Turned the pump off cleaned the mice out of the sprinkler heads and turned the pump back on to finish the irrigation event.

2004-09-27 Irrigation Irrigated the N-rate study. 1.0 inch of water in the rain gauge. The corn was not at black layer on September 27, 2004. After talking with Lyndon Kelley (MSU Extension) we decided to irrigate until the corn reaches black layer. The soil conditions were dry so we irrigated.

2004-10-18 Irrigation Removed the irrigation pipe from the N-rate study.

2007-06-12 Irrigation Irrigated the wheat in the N-rate study. One gauge was 1.2" of water and the second gauge was 1.8 " of water.

2007-06-15 Irrigation Irrigated the wheat in the N-rate study. One gauge was 1.5" of water and the second gauge was 1.6 " of water.
