Comment:
On July 9 Patrick harvested the remaining E1 wheat plots and Josh vertical tilled one treatment. Vertical till had little impact due to dry hard soil and low speed because of small plots. July 10 Josh planted 20XF4 untreated soybeans 1.5 inches deep at 200k seeds per acre in 7.5" and 15" row spacing. Sorghum Sudan grass blend was planted at 30 lbs. per acre 1.5 inches deep. The multi-species cover crop blend was planted at 35 lbs. per acre and 0.5-0.75 inches deep so the clover could emerge. G2 and H2 were also planted to soybeans.
