Fertilized LTER Main Site treatment T4 all reps (5,3,2,4,1 and 6) with Compass Minerals Protassium+ Organic Ag Granular Sulfate of Potash 0-0-50 Plus 17% Sulfur. The target rate in John Deere Dry Rate Controller was 250 lbs per acre. Prairie strips were not fertilized. Application was done at 2.5 mph, B2 gear at 1300 engine RPM, fan speed at 16 lb per cubic inch, JD Dry Rate Controller CFR setting at .0160 and density of protassium+ was 85 lbs/cubic ft. All product settings saved in John Deere rate controller and were not changed from 2025. After calibration runs it was apparent the these settings were accurate for the 250 lbs/A target.
