Total net gallons on the in line water meter reading to start the 2025 season (June 6, 2025): 6,309,110.0 gallons. Total net gallons on the in line water meter reading at the end of the 2025 growing season (December 2, 2025): 6,807,853.0 gallons. Total gallons of water used for the 2025 growing season, based on the in line water meter: 498,743.0 gallons. For the 2025 MSU Water Reporting Data spreadsheet we reported 551,000 gallons for the month of June from the KBS- FSC Main. How did we come up with the 551,000 gallons not the 498,743 gallons? 498,743 gallons + 61,335 gallons estimated gallons from the June 24, 2025 irrigation event, minus (-) the 9,100 gallons reported from the June 24th irrigation event (it was 9,700 gallons) but by memory though that it was 9,100 gallons so the 9,100 gallon amount was used, not the 9,700 gallons. 498,743 + 61,335 - 9,100 = 550,978, round to 551,000 gallons. We had one irrigation event on June 24, 2025 in which the in-line water meter 'froze up' or was not working correctly shortly after turning on this date, therefore the meter was not calculating gallons correctly. On June 24, 2025 the amount of water on the meter was 9,719.6 gallons of water applied at the time of the irrigation event. However, the average gallons per minute (as measure by the in-line water meter was 423 gallons per minute. The irrigation event on June 24, 2025 was ~ 145 minutes: 145 min * 423 gallons per minute = ~ 61,335 gallons for the irrigation event on June 24, 2025. Total hours on the Valley Linear Irrigation System at the start of the 2025 season: ~ 382.0; Total hours on the Valley Linear Irrigation System at the end of the 2025 season (December 2, 2025): 402.0; Total hours used on the Valley Linear Irrigation System for the 2025 growing season: 20 hours.
