Baled the wheat straw from the LTER main plot T1 and T2 plots.
Equipment used: JD 7520 tractor and Krone Baler, JD 7420b tractor to move bales to the trailer, Dodge 1 ton truck and trailer.
Locations where the baler tied a knot and location of bales dropped from the baler were marked with John Deere GPS on the JD 7520 tractor.
Grab samples were collect to put in dry to determine percent moisture in the wheat straw.
Bales were picked up from the field and weighted on Tuesday August 5, 2025.
