Wheat harvest of LTER main site T1 and T2 plots, all replications.
In the T1 plots all wheat straw was wind-rowed so that the straw could be baled at a later time.
In the T3 plots all the wheat straw was chopped back on to the ground, the wheat straw from the T3 plots was not baled.
In the T1 and T3 plots the wheat was harvest so that about 12 inches of the wheat stalk was remaining standing in the field.
