Irrigated winter wheat in the LTER Irrigated Resource Gradient Experiment (Irrigated N-rate Study). Equipment used: Irrigated with the Valley 8000 Linear Irrigation System. Amount of water applied: 1.06 inch of water was applied (as measured by six rain gauges). Irrigation system delay setting: 19.5; Irrigation pressure: 20 psi; Pressure at the pump: 50 psi. Time of application was between 10:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m. Weather conditions at 9:50 a.m. Clear and Sunny , 64.8°F, wind 5 mph (3m high 5 minute average wind speed was 5.29 mph) wind gust 11.44 mph, from the South, relative humidity 76.7%. Weather conditions at 11:55 a.m. Clear and Sunny, 71.1°F, wind 5-7 mph (3m high 5 minute average wind speed was 7.27 mph), wind gust 11.44 mph, from the Southwest, relative humidity 57.1%.
