Fertilized GLBRC Main Site treatment G2, G3, Sorghum Nitrogen North and South plots, Bait Crop area, GLBRC Rep 6 plots and Lysimeter field in the LTER it with potash (0-0-60) at differing rates based on soil test recommendations.
Application rates were as follows:
G2R1: 250 lbs/A potash = 150 lbs/A K2O
G2R2: 300 lbs/A potash = 180 lbs/A K2O
G2R3: 150 lbs/A potash = 90 lbs/A K20
G2R4: 210 lbs/A potash = 126 lbs/A K20
G2R5: 210 lbs/A potash = 126 lbs/A K20
G3R1: 250 lbs/A potash = 150 lbs/A K2O
G3R2: 250 lbs/A potash = 150 lbs/A K2O
G3R3: 200 lbs/A potash = 120 lbs/A K20
G3R4: 200 lbs/A potash = 120 lbs/A K20
G3R5: 150 lbs/A potash = 90 lbs/A K20
Sorghum Nitrogen Rate North and South, Bait Crop area, GLBRC Rep 6 and Lysimeter plots were all spread at a rate of
250 lbs/A Potash = 150 lbs/A K20.
Application was done at 4 mph, C2 with 1100-1500 engine RPM. JD Dry Rate Controller CFR was .0155, density of potash was set to 60 lbs/cubic ft (All these settings saved in JD Rate Controller). Gandy air fan was at 15 ounces per square inch.
