Harvested Marshall Farm Prairie Field (M2). This is the 2024 growing season harvest. M2 was not harvested in the fall of 2024 so in the spring of 2025 M2 was harvested. The field was not harvested in the fall of 2024 for several reasons: had a late frost date in 2024 so biomass did not senesce and dry down enough to bale. After the biomass did senescence in the fall of 2024 we received consistent moisture in the form of rain and snow that prevented M2 prairie field from being harvested in the fall of 2024. Grab sample Moisture: 4.5%
