Chisel Plowed the LTER Treatment 3 all reps (5,4,2,3,1 and 6). Reps 12,3,4, and 5 were done on 5/15/23. Reps 6 was done on 5/16/23. Chisel plowed to a depth of 6-7 inches. Plots were chisel plowed North to South incorporating the existing rye. Two additional ”headland” passes were plowed E-W on the north and south edges of each plot. Prairie strips were avoided completely. Soil moisture conditions were great to incorporate biomass.
