Applied Lime to LTER Main Site treatment Resource Gradient Non Irrigated and T8nt plots with pelletized lime. Lime was applied with a pull type spreader with a 40 ft spreading width. Target application rate was 500 lb per acre on the Resource Gradient Non Irrigated and 1000 Lbs per acre in the T8nt plots. Lime was applied with two passes at 250 lb per acre per pass on Resource Gradient Non Irrigated and 4 passes over T8nt plots. Application was done by turning on the edge of plots to ensure nothing was applied to other plots and changing turning direction on the second pass to get even coverage.
