Chisel Plowed the LTER Treatment 1, all reps: 6, 5, 4, 2, 1, and 3. Chisel plowed with JD 7520 tractor and JD 714 chisel plow. Chisel plowed to a depth of 8-10 inches (17.8-25.4 cm). Chisel plowed each rep on a slight angle to break up plant residue, in North South direction. Reps 1, 2, 3, and 4 were not tilled in the southeast headlands to avoid disturbing the REX micro plots. Weather conditions were: ? F, wind speed ? mph, wind direction South, ? RH, sunny.
