Tilled plot 605 of KBS GLBRC Intensive Field Site (see attachment for plot location) in preparation for Switchgrass Microplot experiment.
Chisel plowed (2X) to depth of 10 inches. field cultivated 2x. Soil very hard and dry and difficult to chisel plow to desired depth. Soil did break up very well with few hard clods.
