Chisel Plowed the LTER Treatment 3 all reps (3,1,2,4,5,6). Reps 1 and 2 were done on 5/11/23. Reps 3,4,5 and 6 were done on 5/12/23. Chisel plowed to a depth of 6-7 inches. Plots were chisel plowed North to South incorporating the existing clover. Two additional ”headland” passes were plowed E-W on the north and south edges of each plot. Prairie strips were avoided completely. Soil moisture conditions were great to incorporate biomass.
