Chisel Plowed the LTER Treatment 1 (reps 5, 3, 6, 1, 4, 2). Chisel plowed with JD 7520 tractor and JD 714 chisel plow. Chisel plowed to a depth of 6-7 inches (15.25-17.8 cm). Chisel plowed each rep on a slight angle to break up plant residue, in North South direction. Reps 1, 2, 3, and 4 were not tilled in the southeast headlands to avoid disturbing the REX micro plots. Reps 5, 3, and 6 were plowed on 10/24 and reps 1, 4, and 2 were plowed on 10/25 Weather conditions on 10/24 were: 17.9° F, wind speed 10 mph, wind direction South, 49.0% RH, mostly sunny Weather conditions on 10/25 were: 57.1°F, wind speed 9.37 mph, wind direction South, 52.8% RH, mostly cloudy
