Sprayed LTER Main Site Treatment T2 all replications (5, 4, 3,1,6and 2), for post emergence weed control in winter wheat.
Plots sprayed with a tank mix of Ammonium Sulfate at 1 lb/A, Powerflex HL at 2 oz/A, Husky at 13.5 oz/A and Non-ionic surfactant at 0.25% v/v (2 qt/100 gal carrier).
Time of application was 4:55 p.m. - 7:40 p.m. Three passes in the West end of Rep 2 remain unsprayed.
Weather conditions 4:55 p.m. were clear, temperature was 62°F, 45% humidity 10-12 mph West wind.
Weather conditions 7:45 p.m. were clear, temperature was 62.2°F, 42% humidity 10-13 mph West wind.
Equipment used: JD 5420 tractor traveling 5 mph with a pull type Top Air Sprayer equipped with a hydraulic centrifugal sprayer pump and John Deere Rate Controller.
