Chisel Plowed the LTER Treatment 1 (all reps). Chisel plowed with JD 7520 tractor and JD 714 chisel plow. Chisel plowed to a depth of 6-7 inches (15.25-17.8 cm). Chisel plowed each rep on a slight angle to break up plant residue. Reps 1, 2, 3, and 4 were not tilled in the southeast headlands to avoid disturbing the REX micro plots.
