Planted GLBRC Main Site G2 and G3 sorghum all replications. Variety Planted: TAM 17651 sorghum. Planting Depth: 1.25 inch. Planting Population: average population of 90,000 seeds per acre. Seed Treatment: TAM 17651 was treated with Concep (seed safener), Apron (systemic fungicide) and Maxim (systemic insecticide). Fertilizer Rate: 50 lbs N/A. Fertilizer was applied to all plots. 28% fertilizer was applied with the corn planter at the time of planting on every other row (three inches to each side of those rows and 1 inch into the ground). 28% fertilizer was applied at 16.7 gallons per acre. 28% weighs 10.67 lbs so 50 lbs of nitrogen was applied per acre. A mistake was made to all plots in 2021: Fertilizer was applied to the micro-plot areas in 2021. In 2021 fertilizer was applied to the entire plot area (main plot and micro-plot areas).
