Chisel Plowed the LTER Treatment 3 all reps (5,4,2,3,1 and 6). Chisel plowed with JD 7520 tractor and JD 714 chisel plow. Chisel plowed to a depth of 6-7 inches (15.24-17.8 cm). Plots were chisel plowed N-S across the field on a slight angle (6%) to disturb corn stubble left over from previous year. Two additional ”headland” passes were plowed E-W on the north and south edges of each plot.
