Irrigated corn in the LTER Irrigated Fertility Gradient Study (N-rate Study). The study was irrigated with the Valley 8000 Linear Irrigation System, .9 inch of water was applied (as measured by six rain gauges); Irrigation system delay setting: 23.5 %; Irrigation pressure: 21 psi; Pressure at the pump: 50 psi; Time of application was between 8:40 a.m. - 10:35 a.m.; Weather conditions at the start sunny, 65.6 degrees F, wind: 4-5 mph east wind, 82.8 % humidity. Weather conditions at the end sunny, 73.3 degrees F, 4-5 mph east wind. 67.4 % humidity. 46,506.5 gallons of water was applied at time of irrigation.
