Irrigated corn in the LTER Irrigated Fertility Gradient Study (N-rate Study). The study was irrigated with the Valley 8000 Linear Irrigation System, .9 inch of water was applied (as measured by six rain gauges); Irrigation system delay setting: 25%; Irrigation pressure: 21 psi; Pressure at the pump: 50 psi; Time of application was between 7:50 a.m. - 9:30 a.m.; Weather conditions at the start sunny, 65.2 degrees F, wind: 1-2 mph east wind, 98.7 % humidity. Weather conditions at the end sunny, 73.9 degrees F, 4-5 mph south east wind. 71.8 % humidity. 45,753.2 gallons of water was applied at time of irrigation.
