Irrigated corn in the LTER Irrigated Fertility Gradient Study (N-rate Study). The study was irrigated with the Valley 8000 Linear Irrigation System. .78 inches of water was applied (as measured by six rain gauges). Irrigation system delay setting: 27%. Irrigation pressure: 21 psi Pressure at the pump: 50 psi Time of application was between 9:00am - 11:00am. Weather conditions at the start partly cloudy, 79 degrees F, wind: 3-4 mph southwest wind, 59.5 % humidity. Weather conditions at the end partly cloudy, 82.6 degrees F, 4-6 mph southwest wind. 42.6 % humidity. 41,090.2 gallons of water were applied at time of irrigation.
