Irrigated corn in the LTER Irrigated Fertility Gradient Study (N-rate Study). The study was irrigated with the Valley 8000 Linear Irrigation System, 1.05 inch of water was applied (as measured by six rain gauges); Irrigation system delay setting: 24%; Irrigation pressure: 21 psi; Pressure at the pump: 50 psi; Time of application was between 3:15 \p.m. - 5:15 p.m.; Weather conditions at the start sunny, 72.4 degrees F, wind: 8-9 mph north west wind, 52.7 % humidity. Weather conditions at the end sunny, 70.9 degrees F, 5-6 mph northwest wind. 52.4 % humidity. 65,583 gallons of water was applied at time of irrigation.
