On September 13, 2019, sprayed GLBRC BCSE treatment G8 poplars replications 1, 2, and 4 only with ”Liquid Fence(R) Deer & Rabbit Repellent” (The Liquid Fence Company, Brodheadsville, PA) for deer repellency effect. For September 13, 2019 only, Liquid Fence was applied at a rate of 8 oz concentrate per gallon of H2O carrier. All other dates Liquid Fence was applied at a rate of 12.8 oz concentrate per gallon of H2O carrier. We had left over Liquid Fence from years past that was recommended at 8oz per gallon from manufacturer. After purchasing new product in 2019, the manufacturer changed the rate of concentrate to 12.8oz per gallon. For Reps 1,2, & 4, treatment was applied with a 15 gallon 12v hand sprayer in the back of a John Deere Gator 620i. Applicator drove down each row of trees and applied treatment to the leaves and trunk of the trees. For Reps 3 & 5, treatment was applied with a 4 gallon backpack hand pump sprayer. The reason for this is because of the deer fence that was erected so we were unable to drive the gator into the Rep. September 13, 2019 G8 Reps 1,2, & 4 were sprayed September 20, 2019 G8 Reps 1,2,3,4, & 5 were sprayed September 26, 2019 G8 Reps 1,2,3,4, & 5 were sprayed
