Irrigated winter wheat in the LTER Irrigated Fertility Gradient Study (N-rate Study). The study was irrigated with the Valley 8000 Linear Irrigation System, 0.78 inch of water was applied (as measured by six rain gauges); Irrigation system delay setting: 28%; Irrigation pressure: 21 psi; Pressure at the pump: 50 psi; Time of application was between 9:20 a.m. - 10:45 a.m.; Weather conditions at the start (9:10 a.m.) mostly sunny, 82 degrees F, wind: 3.7 mph (9 ft) out of the southwest. R.H. 79% Weather conditions at the end (11:00 a.m.): mostly sunny, 86 degrees F, winds: 5.38 mph (9 ft) out of the southwest. R.H. 67% 43,219.3 gallons of water was applied at time of irrigation. Using 422 gals/min. during the irrigation event.
