Soil sampled all scale-up fields plus reference field (M4). Ten cores were taken at each of the 10 stations, to the depth of 25 cm. All samples were taken within 2 meters of station flag. In the corn fields, half of the samples were taken in a corn row, half taken half way between corn rows.
