Used mechanical shear on skid steer to cut down and remove border trees of each plot for a remaining 2 rows with 11 trees in each split plot. Used mechanical shear to cut the remaining 22 trees, chipped them into a dump container mounted on a Gator utility vehicle. The whole vehicle with container and chips were weighed and subtracted from a tare weight. A grab sample was then taken, weighed and dried for moisture. One 3 foot log from each split plot was taken for use with later debarking(this log was included in plot weight).
