Planted winter wheat in T4 plots all treatments (R6, R5, R4, R3, R2, R1). Wheat variety: Pioneer 25R40 which is a soft red winter wheat, the seed was not treated. Pioneer 25R40 (untreated seed) had 12,500 seeds/lb (90% germ) planted at 163.6 lbs/A (2,045,000 seeds per acre). Planting depth:1”. Planted with JD 7420b tractor and JD 1590 no-till drill. Average planting speed was 4.4 mph.
