Chisel Plowed the LTER Treatment 3. Reps 5 and 3 were chisel plowed on October 18, 2018. Reps 4 and 2 were chisel plowed on October 19, 2018. Started to rain so we could not finish reps 1 and 6 on the 19th. Chisel plowed reps 1 and 6 on October 24, 2018. Chisel plowed with JD 7520 tractor and JD 714 chisel plow. Chisel plowed to a depth of 7-8 inches (17.8-20.3 cm). Plots were chisel plowed N-S across the field. Two additional ”headland” passes were plowed E-W on the north and south edges of each plot.
