Irrigated the LTER Irrigated Resource Gradient Study (N-rate Study). Equipment Used: Irrigated with the Valley 8000 Linear Irrigation System. 0.7 inch of water was applied (as measured by five rain gauges); Irrigation system delay setting: 36%; Water pressure at the Linear system: 21-22 psi; Water Pressure at the well/pump: 50 psi; Time of application was between 9:20 a.m. - 10:50 a.m.; Weather conditions at the start: cloudy/foggy Temperature: 61 degrees F, Relative Humidity: 94 %, 0-1 mph North West winds. Weather conditions at the end: cloudy, 65 degrees F, 93 % humidity, 0-1 mph West winds. 36035 gallons of water was applied during this irrigation event; At 50 psi we are using about 430 GPM gallons of water per minute.
