Irrigated the LTER Irrigated Resource Gradient Study (N-rate Study). Equipment Used: Irrigated with the Valley 8000 Linear Irrigation System. 0.56 inch of water was applied (as measured by six rain gauges); Irrigation system delay setting: 38%; Water pressure at the Linear system: 21-22 psi; Water Pressure at the well/pump: 50 psi; Time of application was between 1:52 p.m. - 3:20 p.m.; Weather conditions at the start: sunny Temperature: 75.6 degrees F, Relative Humidity: 43.4 %, Wind: 4-6 mph North East winds. Weather conditions at the end: sunny, 78.4 degrees F, 37.6 % humidity, 4-6 mph North West winds. 33,965 gallons of water was applied during this irrigation event; At 50 psi we are using about 430 GPM gallons of water per minute.
