Chisel Plowed Main Site LTER Treatment 3, all reps (1, 6, 3, 2, 4 and 5). Equipment Used: Chisel plowed with JD 7520 tractor and JD 714 chisel plow. Chisel plowed to a depth of 7-8 inches (17.8-20.3 cm). Rep 1 was chisel plowed on a slight angle, reps 6, 3, 2, 4, and 5 were chisel plowed N-S (no angle). Rep 1 was chisel plowed on a slight angle as to make sure all corn rows were chisel plowed. Two and half additional ”headland” passes were plowed E-W on the north and south edges of each plot. Joe Simmons chisel plowed T3R1 and all the 'headland' passes. Justin Mezo chisel plowed T3 reps: 6, 3, 2, 4, and 5.
