Chisel Plowed Main Site LTER Treatment 4 Reps (1, 2, and 3) were chisel plowed on May 10, 2018. Reps (4, 5, and 6) were chisel plowed on May 11, 2018. Equipment Used: Chisel plowed with JD 7520 tractor and JD 714 chisel plow. Chisel plowed to a depth of 7-8 inches (17.8-20.3 cm). Plots were chisel plowed N-S (on a slight angle) across the field. Chisel plowed on a slight angle as to make sure all corn rows were chisel plowed. Two and half additional ”headland” passes were plowed E-W on the north and south edges of each plot.
