West MI Tree Service started harvest T5 plots today. Thursday March 29, 2018 Finished cutting all the trees in T5R1, cut a few in T5R2. Friday March 30, 2018 Finished cutting all the trees in T5R2. Monday April 2, 2018 Started cutting trees in T5R3, cut ~ 2/3 of the T5R3 plot. Tuesday April 3, 2018 Finished cutting trees in T5R3. Wednesday April 4, 2018 To muddy to finish chipping the trees from T5R3. Started cutting and chipping trees from T5R5 (finished about 2/3 of the trees that were still remaining in the plot to harvest). West MI Tree Service 'Flail cut' (chipped the stumps and remaining biomass in the plots today too). The operated the flail cutter at the time the truck driver was dumping wood chips from the tree harvest. Thursday April 5, 2016 Finished cutting and chipping trees from T5R5. West MI Tree Service 'Flail cut' (chipped the stumps and remaining biomass in the T5R5 today too). Started cutting and chipping in T5R6 (cut and chipped the micro-plot area this afternoon). Friday April 6, 2018 cut and chipped T5R6 plots today. Monday April 9, 2018 worked on T5R4 today (about 2/3 or more of the plot). Tuesday April 10, 2018 finished T5R4 today at 12:00 noon. Monday April 30, 2018 finished chipping trees from T5R3 and T5R2. West MI Tree also mowed the plots with a bob-cat and flail mower head (forestry flail head). They worked on mowing the plots on April 30 and May 1, 2018. They finished mowing the plots on May 1, 2018.
