Applied 120 lb N/acre (134 kg N/ha) as ammonium nitrate (34-0-0) based on Pre-Side-dressed Soil Nitrate Test (PSNT) results, taken a few days earlier. When corn plants were about 12" (7.6 cm) tall, applied nitrogen (PSNT) recommendations for 130 bu/acre (8150 kg/ha) corn yield goal as ammonium nitrate (34-0-0), at lay-by, using Gandy Orbit-Airspreader [T2]
