Irrigated the LTER Irrigated Resource Gradient Study (N-rate Study). Equipment Used: Irrigated with the Valley 8000 Linear Irrigation System. 0.83 inch of water was applied (as measured by six rain gauges); Irrigation system delay setting: 28%; Irrigation pressure: 30 psi; Pressure at the pump: 58-60 psi; Time of application was between 8:40 a.m. and 10:50 a.m.; Weather conditions at the start: (8:40 a.m.) Partly Sunny, Temperature: 62 degrees F, Relative Humidity: 94%, Wind: 4-5 mph out of the east. Weather conditions at the end: (10:50 a.m.) Partly Sunny, Temperature: 69 degrees F, Relative Humidity: 74%, Wind: 4-6 mph out of south east. ? gallons of water was applied during this irrigation event. The flow meter was not working during this irrigation event.
