Irrigated the LTER Irrigated Resource Gradient Study (N-rate Study). Equipment Used: Irrigated with the Valley 8000 Linear Irrigation System. 0.66 inch of water was applied (as measured by six rain gauges); Irrigation system delay setting: 31%; Irrigation pressure: 30 psi; Pressure at the pump: 58-60 psi; Time of application was between 9:30 a.m. and 11:30 a.m.; Weather conditions at the start: (9:30 a.m.) Cloudy, Temperature: 73 degrees F, Relative Humidity: 93%, Wind: 6-7 mph out of the south. Weather conditions at the end: (11:30 a.m.) Cloudy, Temperature: 77 degrees F, Relative Humidity: 83%, Wind: 4-5 mph out of south. ? gallons of water was applied during this irrigation event. The flow meter was not working during this irrigation event.
