Irrigated the LTER Irrigated Resource Gradient Study (N-rate Study). Equipment Used: Irrigated with the Valley 8000 Linear Irrigation System. 0.92 inch of water was applied (as measured by six rain gauges); Irrigation system delay setting: 24%; Irrigation pressure: 21 psi; Pressure at the pump: 50 psi; Time of application was between 12:10 p.m. and 2:15 p.m.; Weather conditions at the start: (12:10 p.m.) mostly sunny, 82 degrees F, 66% relative humidity, wind: 6-8 mph out of the south southwest. Weather conditions at the end: (2:15 p.m.) mostly sunny, 84 degrees F, 54% relative humidity, wind: 8-12 mph south southwest. 49,419 gallons of water was applied during this irrigation event.
