Irrigated the LTER Irrigated Fertility Gradient Study (N-rate Study). The study was irrigated with the Valley 8000 Linear Irrigation System, 1 inch of water was applied (as measured by six rain gauges); Irrigation system delay setting: 22 %; Irrigation pressure: 21 psi; Pressure at the pump: 50 psi; Time of application was between 9:20 a.m. and 11:15 a.m.; Weather conditions at the start were overcast, 66 degrees F, 91% relative humidity, wind: 1-4 mph variable. Weather conditions at the end: overcast, 70 degrees F, 80% relative humidity, winds: 1-4 mph out of the north north west. 50330 gallons of water was applied at time of irrigation.
