Irrigated the LTER Irrigated Fertility Gradient Study (N-rate Study). The study was irrigated with the Valley 8000 Linear Irrigation System, 1.2 inches of water was applied (as measured by six rain gauges); Irrigation system delay setting: 21 %; Irrigation pressure: 21 psi; Pressure at the pump: 50 psi; Time of application was between 9:15 a.m. and 11:15 a.m.; Weather conditions at the start were mostly sunny, 60 degrees F, 69% relative humidity, wind: 1-4 mph out of the south south west. Weather conditions at the end: mostly sunny, 68 degrees F, 57% relative humidity, winds: 1-3 mph out of the south east. 52,510 gallons of water was applied at time of irrigation.
