Irrigated the LTER Irrigated Fertility Gradient Study (N-rate Study). The study was irrigated with the Valley 8000 Linear Irrigation System, 0.8 inch of water was applied (as measured by six rain gauges); Irrigation system delay setting: 28%; Irrigation pressure: 21 psi; Pressure at the pump: 50 psi; Time of application was between 9:50 a.m.-12:30 p.m.; Weather conditions at the start were sunny, 73 degrees F, 68% relative humidity, wind: 2 mph out of the west. Weather conditions at the end: sunny, 83 degrees F, 46% relative humidity, winds: 2-5 mph out of the south. 53,760 gallons of water was applied at time of irrigation.
