Chisel Plowed the LTER Treatment 4, all reps: 6, 1, 2, 3, 4, and 5. Chisel plowed with JD 7520 tractor and JD 714 chisel plow. Chisel plowed to a depth of 7-8 inches (17.8-20.3 cm). Plots were chisel plowed N-S across the field (a slight angle to make sure the chisel plow covered all the old corn residue rows) . Two additional ”headland” passes were plowed E-W on the north and south edges of each plot.
