Chisel Plowed the LTER Treatment 1, all reps, (reps: 6, 3, 2, 4, 1, 5). Chisel plowed with JD 7520 tractor and JD 714 chisel plow. Chisel plowed to a depth of 7-8 inches (17.8-20.3 cm). Plots were chisel plowed N-S across the field (a slight angle to make sure the chisel plow covered all the old corn residue rows). Two additional ”headland” passes were plowed E-W on the north and south edges of each plot.
