Planted soybeans on the LTER main site studies: N-rate Studies (irrigated and non-irrigated), T8nt, and Lysimeter Field. Planted with JD 7420(a) tractor and JD 1730 planter. Variety planted: NK S20-F8 soybeans. Seeding rate goal: 180,000 seeds per acre. Row spacing: 15 inches. The 2006 NK S20-F8 soybeans had 2,850 seeds per pound. Planting depth: 1”.
