Irrigated the LTER Irrigated Fertility Gradient Study (N-rate Study). The study was irrigated with the Valley 8000 Linear Irrigation System, 0.76 inch of water was applied (as measured by six rain gauges); Irrigation system delay setting: 23%; Irrigation pressure: 22 psi; Pressure at the pump: 50 psi; Time of application was between 8:55 a.m - 10:45 a.m.; Weather conditions at the start: cloudy, 64 degrees F, 93% relative humidity, wind: 0 - 5 mph, average of 2 mph out of the west. Weather conditions at the end: cloudy, 64 degrees F, 89% relative humidity, winds: 0 - 5 mph, average of 3 mph out the west. Total gallons of water used for this irrigation event: 40,100 gallons.
