Irrigated the LTER Irrigated Fertility Gradient Study (N-rate Study). The study was irrigated with the Valley 8000 Linear Irrigation System, .66 inch of water was applied (as measured by six rain gauges); Irrigation system delay setting: 29.5-30 %; Irrigation pressure: 20 psi; Pressure at the pump: 50 psi; Time of application was between 8:50 - 10:10 a.m.; Weather conditions at the start were partly cloudy, 61 degrees F, 90% relative humidity, wind: 2 mph out of the west. Weather conditions at the end: Partly cloudy, 64 degrees F, 82% relative humidity, winds: 4 mph out of the west. 30,360 gallons of water was applied at time of irrigation.
