Irrigated the LTER Irrigated Fertility Gradient Study (N-rate Study). The study was irrigated with the Valley 8000 Linear Irrigation System, .71 inch of water was applied (as measured by six rain gauges); Irrigation system delay setting: 26.5 %; Irrigation pressure: 20 psi; Pressure at the pump: 50 psi; Time of application was between 1:00 - 3:00 p.m.; Weather conditions at the start were mostly cloudy, 71 degrees F, 63% relative humidity, wind: 5 mph from the NW. Weather conditions at the end: mostly cloudy, 72 degrees F, 61% relative humidity, winds: 3 mph avg. from the N. (April 1, 2014 flow meter read 273,600 gallons, July 23, 2014 the flow meter read 438880 with a difference equaling 165,280)
