Irrigated the LTER Irrigated Fertility Gradient Study (N-rate Study). The study was irrigated with the Valley 8000 Linear Irrigation System, 1.05 inch of water was applied (as measured by six rain gauges); Irrigation system delay setting: 20%; Irrigation pressure: 20 psi; Pressure at the pump: 50 psi; Time of application was between 9:00 - 11:00 a.m.; Weather conditions at the start were sunny, 69 degrees F, 85% relative humidity, wind: calm from the southeast. Weather conditions at the end: sunny, 79 degrees F, 68% relative humidity, winds: 5 mph ave. from the southwest.
