Irrigated the LTER Irrigated Fertility Gradient Study (N-rate Study). The study was irrigated with the Valley 8000 Linear Irrigation System, 1.06 inch of water was applied (as measured by six rain gauges); Irrigation system delay setting: 20%; Irrigation pressure: 20 psi; Pressure at the pump: 50 psi; Time of application was between 9:00 - 11:00 a.m.; Weather conditions at the start: 59 degrees F (15 degrees C), 93% relative humidity, wind: 1 mph from the east. Weather conditions at the end: 72 degrees F (22.2 degrees C), 49% relative humidity, winds: 4 mph ave. from the southeast.
