Sprayed GLBRC Bait Crop (East side inside pass, South side both inside and outside pass) for pre - emergence weed control where corn was planted with Lexar at a rate of 3 qts/A, Roundup Power Max at 16 oz/A, and Ammonium Sulfate at 3.4 lbs/A. Weather conditions: At the start sunny with air temperature of 74 degrees F, humidity was 53 % with 5 mph winds ESE. End of application sunny, 86 degrees F, humidity 33 %, with calm winds Time of application was 10:20 a.m. - 4:15 p.m. Equipment Used: JD 5220 tractor traveling 4.8 mph (gear C1, 1500 rpm) with a pull type Top Air Sprayer equipped with a hydraulic centrifugal sprayer pump and a John Deere Rate Controller. Turbo TeeJet 11003 nozzles were used, spaced 15 inches apart with a total boom length of 30 feet. 20 psi were used. Water applied at 20 gals/A, (187 L/ha), was used as the carrier.
